2019 Living in Muskoka

Taita's first Christmas tree. We had a great day together!

Altogether for Christmas dinner.
Taita accliatizing to the cold Canadian weather. Tomas and Robert joined us for the weekend.

19-Dec: Sarah and Taita arrived in Canada at Pearson Airport, very early in the morning!
In early December we had an 'open house' for neighbors.
Robert and Renee's friends Tomas and Jennifer on Lions Lookout in Huntsville, overlooking Fairy Lake.
Lynda's new Hyundai Veloster.
Final paddle of the season in Skeleton Lake during October.
Our annual Fall visit to Algonquin Park.
We visited Limberlost Forest for the first time in September. It proved to be a popular hiking destination for us just outside of Huntsville.
Fannie, Sarah's long time friend from High School came to see Sarah in September.
While the girls sat in the sun, I swam in Little Joe Lake.

19-Aug: That special day! Lynda and Sarah took me to Arowhon Pines Resort in Algonquin Park.
Alfie visited us this year. We really enjoyed having him stay with us in Huntsville.

We started remodelling the family bathroom in May and it was completed in July. We were very pleased with the result.

In July the neighbors met at Rick and Karen's for a summer party. It was fun.

Having removed the rock in the garden we grew some vegetables. I spent a lot of time this summer thinking about dad and his garden.
In June it was warm enough to get on the water. We paddled out to Alice Island on Fairy Lake in Huntsville Ontario.

3-Jun was Lynda's first day working for the Algonquin Family Healthcare Team at the Dorset Health Hub.
By the end of May we had made a start on the garden, clearing rocks. BIG ones!
Harriet and Jim came to see us in May during their N.A tour. It was great to have them stay with us in Huntsville.
By mid April we were dealing with snow melt. Fortunately we managed to direct the water away from the house!
I only skied once in 2019. During the last weekend in March I visited Mount St. Louis Moonstone, whilst Lynda was in the UK visiting family.

We took a wrong turn and sunk in snow to our knees.

In January we had our annual winter visit to Algonquin Park and this time Sarah joined us.

There was no shortage of snowfall during the winter of 2018/19. 15ft in total for the season.
